The other day I decided to purchase Rich dad poor dad which is wrote by Robert T. Kiyosaki. I heard lots of good reviews of this book and many, many recommendations. I went onto amazon kindle and brought it. I got to say it was one of the best books I ever read. The book is about the mentality around money and financial education. It takes a certain mindset. The great thing about this book is that you can also write notes, as it has a note page. I enjoyed the book so much, I ordered the hard copy. He teaches you how to value cash flow, income over assets and the mentality around investing into assets over liabilities.
In chapter 1 he explains why the rich dont work for money, but money works for them. He explains how every dollar (or pound) is a little worker in itself.
Chapter two is about financial literacy and how having financial literacy is one of the main education which the rich dad pushed for him to learn.
Chapter 3 teaches you to mind your own buisness! It sounds rude at first but once he goes into detail you will learn what he means by this.
Chapter 4 gives you the history of taxes and the power of corporations.
Chapter 5 & 6 tells you about how the rich invent money and teaches you to work to learn and dont work for money. It does sound kind of backwards but this book is all about mentality!
Chapter 7 & 8 is about overcoming your obstacles and getting started! Throughout investing and buisness you will run into obstacles.
If you are a beginner or have been investing for a while, I would still recommend this book highly
